@Steffets @indivigames i'll see if i get this done properly - i'm a dabbling linux (console-)user... i rely on MATE most of the time.
as i said "win version with Proton4.29 tested and does work."
i'll try the linux version though.
also will you reenable the previous content that was cut from this version?
i played until i got a passport for the city... i miss the succubi tower and the content from the city.

the r2.2linux doesn't work for me. it crashes after character creation once i press esc (to get the menu and save) saying "reference error, storecl is not defined".
Kernel 4.15.0-34 generic x86_64 (Linux Mint 18 Sylvia)
i also copied it into my user folder because some programs had similiar issues when run from my other HDD, but this didn't solve the problem.
when i played LDr18xx i used the win version and WINE to run it, so maybe it is an old problem.
trying this with the r2.2 win-version next.
had to trick steam proton 4.19 into launching it, but now i finally get the main menu. will test.

Thanks, yeah the linux export acts weirdly. Here's what seems to work for people: Run 'chmod +x ./nw' and then './nw' instead of './Game'. (Thanks to J L for this solution!)
